# Migration

Migration instructions for devices from deCONZ to Zigbee2MQTT

## Process

1. Delete device in deCONZ
2. Reload the deCONZ integration
3. Fire the `deconz.remove_orphaned_entities` service
4. Restart Home Assistant platform. Restarting the whole system isn't necessary.
5. Factory reset device (varies per device)
6. Pair with Zigbeet2MQTT
7. Rename device and apply to Home Assistant
8. Rename entity in AppDaemon
